A mysterious discovery from the world of Quasiland.
Deep within the caves of Thumbman Island, the Bulbs of Rootgard discovered an extraordinary hot-air balloon known as The Big Floater.
Its origins remain a mystery. Some believe it arrived through an ancient Whurlem Turlem event, crossing between dimensions before finding its way into Quasiland.
With its connection to the everlasting magical flame, The Big Floater has become one of Quasiland's most intriguing artefacts.
Originally created in acrylic on canvas by Dean Reeve, this imaginative artwork combines unusual characters, storytelling and the strange folklore of Quasiland.

The Tale Behind the Story
The Big Floater
Deep within the caves of Thumbman Island, the Bulbs of Rootgard made an extraordinary discovery.
Hidden away from the outside world was a mysterious hot-air balloon, apparently abandoned many years before. How it came to be there, and who might have travelled aboard it, remained a mystery.
The discovery caused considerable excitement amongst the Bulbs, particularly those who believed the balloon might be evidence of an ancient journey between worlds.
According to Quasiland folklore, the Whurlem Turlem possess the extraordinary ability to control the passage between dimensions. Some believe that The Big Floater may have travelled through one of these magical gateways before finding its way into the caves of Thumbman Island.
The balloon's connection to Quasiland's everlasting magical flame only adds to the mystery.
Whether The Big Floater was deliberately brought to the island, or simply arrived there through some extraordinary accident, nobody knows.
And so The Big Floater remains one of Quasiland's most intriguing discoveries, a reminder that the boundaries between worlds are not always as permanent as they appear.
Field Notes
From the Quasiland Archives
It has been recorded in the Quasiland Archives that the vessel may be the forgotten remnant of an ancient Whurlem Turlem journey, carried into Quasiland from another dimension through the magical vortex.
No evidence has ever confirmed the theory, but neither has it been disproved.
The Big Floater simply drifts wherever the ancient magic chooses, gently descending only when a new adventure awaits.

Shipping and Packaging
Complimentary worldwide shipping is available to destinations currently supported at checkout.
International orders may be subject to local customs duties, taxes, or import fees, which remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
These prints are sent rolled in postal tubes.
Each print is wrapped in acid free tissue paper, the prints are then rolled around a smaller tube to protect the prints from getting creased while rolling.
The prints are then wrapped in a heavyweight paper, typically longer than the prints to protect the edges while inside the postal tube, this paper roll is then taped to stop the prints from unwinding and filling out the tube, which makes it easier to remove from the tube.
All materials within our postal tubes are recyclable, the only plastic element is the postal tube end cap.
90% of our orders are shipped within 3 days from the UK,using Royal Mail.
