The Headmins and the Magical Pull of the Sun captures a group of chosen Headmins drawn towards the sun by a mysterious magical force. Leaving the shores of Thumbman Island behind, they climb ever higher, following the Pull towards something that remains beyond their understanding.
The Headmins are inhabitants of Thumbman Island, where strange forces and ancient mysteries form part of everyday life. Among them are the Dreamers, sometimes known as the Millies, who are particularly connected to the mysterious journey towards the sun.
This Early Studio Release offers collectors the opportunity to step into the world of Quasiland at the beginning of its journey. Each artwork forms part of a growing narrative world of strange characters, mysterious artefacts, forgotten pathways and hidden forces that continues to unfold.
The original artwork was hand-painted in acrylic on canvas before being professionally scanned and colour-matched to produce this museum-quality limited edition giclée print.

Collector Information for this Art Print Artefact from Quasiland
What is Quasiland?
Quasiland is an imagined world discovered through art. From a small shack on the remote Mingus Peninsula, the Artist paints the characters, places and strange events revealed to him.
Each painting becomes an Artefact of Quasiland — another fragment of a world that is still being discovered.

The Tale Behind the Story
The Pull of the Sun
Among the Headmins, there are a rare few known as the Millies — Dreamers who feel the ancient Pull of the Elements more strongly than any other.
For the Sun Millies, that pull comes not from the earth beneath their feet but from the blazing sky above. When the call arrives, a magical ladder appears, stretching impossibly upward toward the sun itself.
Drawn by forces older than memory, the chosen begin their ascent, climbing higher and higher into the golden light. Some travel alone, while others follow in wonder, unable to resist the mystery.
Though every Dreamer eventually returns to Thumbman Island, they come back changed, carrying stories of radiant realms, impossible landscapes, and strange adventures glimpsed beyond the edge of the known world.
Field Notes
Among the Headmins, a rare few are known as Sun Millies—Dreamers said to hear the ancient Pull of the Sun more clearly than all others.
When the call comes, a ladder of golden light is said to appear, stretching impossibly toward the heavens. Without hesitation, the chosen begin their climb, drawn upward by a force no one has ever explained.
Some ascend alone. Others are followed by curious companions who simply cannot resist discovering where the ladder leads.
Every traveller eventually returns to Thumbman Island, but never quite the same. They speak of radiant skies, impossible landscapes, and distant places that seem to exist somewhere beyond the edge of ordinary maps.
Whether these journeys are dreams, memories, or something far older remains one of Quasiland's enduring mysteries.

The prints are then wrapped in a heavyweight paper, typically longer than the prints to protect the edges while inside the postal tube, this paper roll is then taped to stop the prints from unwinding and filling out the tube, which makes it easier to remove from the tube.
All materials within our postal tubes are recyclable, the only plastic element is the postal tube end cap.
90% of our orders are shipped within 3 days from the UK,using Royal Mail.
